I've got an entire education in “media” arts and animation but that EXPENSIVE degree didn't cover oil painting and it intimidates me greatly. The software is a great idea.

When getting my bachelors for media arts/animation they told us to work smarter and not harder. My favorite teacher; when asked about tracing, said “why not? No need to reinvent the wheel in this digital age” the art part is more in how the artist interprets the color or adds their own personal flair. With you, the process and the program is the art. I think that's very cool.
